Pablo Nez Garcia is an adamantly New Jersey filmmaker fretting over the daily contradictions of our being, but charging ahead with the hifalutin confidence of a film director. Offering alternative perspectives using animation and analog techniques, they explore themes around landscape, queerness, American myth, and the logic puzzle of communicating through film.
Pablo graduated from Rutgers University in 2024 with a BFA in Filmmaking. Their films have shown at festivals, galleries, and live events across the US including Slamdance, AIFVF, Tallgrass, MdFF, and the SoMad gallery.
